Listen To The Sound Of Silence...

This photo is proof- I am still here, though quite silent...

This non-stop winter weather has lulled me into a deep hibernation.

I have managed to have some fun, including a visit from Jen Gandee, who broke away from the Gandee Gallery to visit me.  Jen gave me my favorite holiday gift, a cup by Brooke Noble-isn't it great?

Brooke's pots are so graphic and cleaver.

She takes advantage of every available surface, even the bottom of the pot. I admit, I don't use it for my favorite beverage, choosing instead to  leave it on the shelf as eye candy.

And now, I have broken the silence and plan to let you know of other adventures that are afoot in the studio.

Hi, first comment here. I know what you mean about hibernation, so I decided to go nearby for my first workshop in a while - Brook Noble!

I also love her work - especially the storytelling aspect.

I posted photos of our workshop, and her show at the Clay Art Center in PortChester, NY:
