My state takes its fair share of licks for being-well, you can fill in the blank. We do know how to do some things right, like making fiesta ware... Check out how it's been made for years and have some
pride.

Thanks for posting this. There's a bunch of neat stuff in it. I especially like the use of the ball when rounding the cups after handling.
I love how the guys slap the clay down on the slump molds and I am now curious how they final fire the work stacked one on top of the other and that they don't stick together. I see they have little bisquets in there, but I'm very curious as to how that works. Thanks for posting.
Wow and we dare to call ourselves "production potters"
I could learn an thing there.
Thanks!
Great video! The factory looks a little different from when I went on a tour there a few years ago with my daughter. My dad lives a few miles down the river from Newell, and he waited patiently while I picked out a whole set of Fiesta ware from their huge "seconds" room. Then I had to have it sent across the country . . .
This is only the second of your videos I have watched and will need to watch again due to the quantity and quality of your input detail. Thanks for your effort I can see that your videos should be seen by all who are starting out like me and possibly more experienced WA’ers who may not have hit on some of your time saving moves with Excel.
